MERF SCHOLARSHIPS


 


Mensa Education and Research Foundation conducts an annual scholarship contest.  Eligible persons are those who plan to enter an institution of higher  education (college) in the Fall of 2001.  U.S. or nationalized citizens.  What to do?  Easy.  Write a paper.  Length, 550 words or less.

There are some other easy qualifications, but the important thing is that  this competition is open to (almost) all.  No SATs.  No GPAs.  No transcripts, No recommendations.  No rich kid, poor kid.  Only one thing.  An anonymous essay, "What I Want to Be, and Why."  Scholarships range from $200 to $10,000.  All essays are entered into the local NTM Scholarship Foundation, which awards additional scholarships.
